9 a.m. Registration opens and you can arrive anytime between 9-11 a.m./T-shirt pick up
9:15-11:00 Participants can start anytime & proceed at their own pace
Prizes will be given at the completion of each challenge throughout the morning
11:30 Final awards for the kids and closing
Healthy snacks will be available
throughout the morning.

The event will be a blend of fitness, challenges, clues, games and entertainment. They will include A Bicycle Rodeo, Zumba Dance, Bicycle Decorating, Jump Rope, Hoola Hoop, Yoga poses, Basketball Toss, Water-Syringe Relay, Bicycle Safety Course, Obstacle Course and MORE! Family, friends and cyclists who support individuals with diabetes can sign up to cycle/run/jog/skip on the White Rock Creek Trail and Cottonwood Creek Extention with local celebrities and heroes to celebrate the joys of fitness and an active lifestyle while helping others in our community.
The money raised will be divided between JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and the DMCSAF (Dallas County Medical Society Alliance Foundation) Philanthropies, Edith Cavell Nursing Scholarships, the Benefactors Endowment Fund (which helps fund the Community Health Fair for low income families), and the Aldredge House. For the last two years, JDRF has participated in the DCMSAF Community Health Fair.

JDRF Greater Dallas Chapter hosted the JDRF Diabetes Research Day Luncheon with special guest and keynote speaker Natalie Strand, M.D., winner of the Amazing Race season 17. Dr. Strand was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 12. The DCMSA was inspired by Dr. Strand's speech and we wanted to follow in her footsteps and raise awareness about Type 1 diabetes while challenging local families to a Family Friendly Fitness Adventure.
